Create an Alarm

  1. Visit http://ws.columbiaweather.com/
  2. Login and click Account Settings on the upper right menu

3. Set the Default Units for the account and click [Save]
4. Click on Alarms on the upper right menu
5. If you have more than one station installed, select the appropriate station from the Weather Station drop down menu

6. Click [Add] and fill in all details:

Click Add
  • Give the Alarm a Name
  • Select a Measurement
  • Select Upper, Lower, or Range Alarm Type
  • Enter in the value for the limit(s)
  • Set the Recurring Notification Delay
  • Click [Save]

7. Click Manage to set notifications

8. Approve any pending requests on the App Push Notifications icon

(To request an Alarm Push Notification, download the Columbia Weather Systems app on Android or iPhone and visit the Account screen)

9. Click the Groups icon

10. Click [Add]

For App Push Notification Service:

  • Enter in a Description, for example Notify Ground Crew
  • Select the appropriate recipients
  • Click [Save]

For Email Service:

  • Enter in a Description, for example Notify Ground Crew
  • Enter in the appropriate email addresses

11. Click [Save]

12. Click Edit next to Alarm Details, select the appropriate notifications as needed and click [Save]

13. Click [Test] to verify

14. Add additional alarms as needed
